Is AIM not working or is it a problem with my computer?
I was just chatting on AIM and right at midnight it disconnected me. I can’t log on now using iChat, AIM, or AIM Express. Is AIM down or is it an issue with my computer or internet? I have verizon fios internet.
I’ve tried using it on iChat, AIM, and AIM Express. Still no luck.
Mine did that around 11:45ish CST, ive been googling for the past hour.. and i can’t find any cause.. i did find this on wiki…

i also have tried aim express and such, i tried logging in on an old s/n it it worked…but all the people were offline.. so, i’m in the same boat as you.

something is up with the internet connection lately
i just saw most of my buddies and contacts disconnect almost at the same time.
I suspect something is up.
But all we can really do is wait.

AIM isn’t working, that’s for sure. MOST of the phone numbers on the buddy list disconnected, like you said. All at once. This started happening around 12 midnight for me. AIMExpress, AIM, Meebo, and Trillian all give me the same problems. So it’s not your computer, it’s AIM. Perhaps they’re doing system maintenance.
