i have a DELL Latitude X200 365MB RAM 933 mHZ processor. (sorry for bad description)
i want a web kiosk OS. meaning you power up your net book to the internet and that’s all you can do. SURF THE INTERNET!!!! examples: webconverger and Google Chrome OS. Both are not good for me at this time. if you know of another OS like this please tell me.
it has to be a we browser OS, it can’t have any other kind of desktop or anything (it has to be so it will run fast) if a computer is not running you OS, but your internet browser alone, you will have a lot of processor to spare, my net book doesn’t so i have to do this so i can surf the web at a good speed.
Linux and Windows xp would be good.

I Recommend Linux…Its A Lot Harder Than Windows And Mac I’ll Guarantee You That, So You Need To Learn How To Use It And Get Used To It…But Windows XP Really Is Perfect For Your Memory And Processor.

Not sure why you’d want to limit the ability of your netbook, but there is a decent article on choosing the right OS for your netbook at the link provided.

If you have a laptop with no operating system (OS) installed, and all you want to do is surf the internet, then Linux is probably the best for you. It’s free, runs light, and is pretty secure.
If you’re asking about an internet browser (your question is a little ambiguous), then I recommend Mozilla Firefox.
Windows XP is a good OS, as well.
But if internet is all you’re after, then Linux is probably best.

Why would you just want to surf the web? I’d say you should just go with windows, because you know, you can surf the web on that too! And besides, there far more you can do with computers than just surf the web.

So mean an OS Browser like google chrome.
The best for me would be:
Opera Browser 1
Mozilla 2
Safari 3
