Life Is Beautiful (1997)

Plot: 1939 Arezzo, Italy. Guido and his friend arrive in town. Guido, who’s Jewish, is a funny, happy, naively sophisticated, imaginative man, who falls in love with a school teacher(Dora). With his wits and his imagination, he wins the heart of the teacher, who in spite of having agreed to a marriage proposal with an other guy, doesn’t hesitate for a moment to run away with Mr. Guido, who was just a waiter by then. They have a kid who always enjoys the special imagination of his father. During WWII, the happy family gets swept off to a concentration camp, where the father, in order to make his son believe that the predicament is just an game his family is participating in, uses that very imagination and makes his son believe that it is a game they are playing and the 1st prize is a tank. Various levels of creativity are used by Guido to protect his son in the camp, where the old and the children are killed because they are not strong enough to work.

i have a choice to make. I like this girl lets call her A A is beautiful, smart, funny and so on. I’ve loved her for years, composed songs ,wrote poems and learned to Wheelchair ballroom dance for her but due to the nature of my condition i am in a word ugly some examples being slurred speech weak legs and muscle spasms. Back to point in acknowledgment of this i became her friend choosing not to pursue any romantic intentions, she is 16 (I am the same age) and currently dating an 18 year old.I have no straight out objections to that however she is giving up her religion, dreams , and music scholarship because he is her life and she doesn’t want to leave him. I have been given the chance to leave the school and pursue a writing scholarship,in conjunction with this where i am going to go has other people in wheelchairs I am the only one where i am now. If i go there i will be in the same area as a girl acquaintance in a wheelchair which would be a nice change . So it boils down to do I wait for A or should i leave

2 month old has re-occurring spit-ups & horrible gas?
I had to change my babies formula 3 times already because she gets really fussy and screams in pain because of gas and shes been spitting up more frequently. First she was on similac advance which was given to her by the hospital when she was born and she was doing fine till she turned 1 month old and thats when she began to spit up a lot and has lots of gas. So, I changed the formula to similac sensitive RS and that helped for a while till she turned 2 months old and the spitting up and gas came back again. So, I switched to a different brand of formula, enfamil sensitive formula made with soy and it seemed to be doing fine for the 1st day but, now she is having even more gas and spitting up. I’m really confused about what formula to try and why she has so much gas. I use Avent bottles that are designed to prevent babies from taking in air when they feed to prevent gas and I use infants mylicon to help her with her gas but, this gas is extreme, farts, burps, and when I pat her back I can even hear the gas moving through her stomach and it makes growling noises. She just saw her pediatrician 3 days ago and they doctor said it was normal for babies to spit up and have gas but, I think something may be wrong.

Does anyone else have a similar experience and advice on what helped?

My best advice would be to seek a specialist. Call the 1-800 number on your insurance card and find out if you have to have a referral. If you don’t ask them for the name and number of a pediatric gastroenterologist on their list (that accepts your insurance) and make an appointment. If you do need a referral find out how you can obtain that-probably through your pediatrician’s office. The specialist was so so so much more helpful and knowledgeable about Ethan’s condition. She helped us find the right formula and got him on medication that helped so much. Do a little research online about reflux to see if you think this is what your daughter has.

Am I the only 15 year old who listens too and plays the blues?
I was just wondering am I the only 15 year old who listens to artist like Charlie Patton, Robert Johnson, Blind Boy Fuller, W.C. Handy, Blinde Willie McTell, Barbecue Bob, Son House, Muddy Waters, GUS cannon and other blues artist like these? I also play slide guitar and play harmonica and vocals.

10 lbs no way!
you will eat maybe a pound or two at thanksgiving but remember theres bones, skin and yucky parts and could take atleast 2 pounds. Nah go for the big guy they arent expensive and are good for you and tastes soooo gooooood!
