Does it seems Asians are more bias against blacks than whites?
Which could explain why Obama did not get the same adoration from the Asians that he received from Europeans. And why was it that Obama bowed much lower to the Asian leaders and not at all to the European ones?
although I like asian people but I’d like to agree with you on this topic. I’m caucasian and was born and been stayed in thailand. there are many asian ppl. that I like and respect them as my chaperon. they aren’t racist and they very good to me but when it’s come about the skin color…it seems to be the norm there in asia that fair complexion verify "feminine, high class and delicate while dark complexion verify harsh, low class and unattractive." I tried a lot of time to change their point of view about that. they aren’t racist or treat the dark complexion asian as bad but they just feel superior to them for example, they don’t take the people with very dark skin to work in KFC or Pizza hut. mostly, they like to take the asian that have chinese blood or the mixed thai-european or american to work in a restaurant or sale things in the mall because those have got fair complexion and look clean, some of them said that.
one of my thai chaperon adopted the cambodian boy. he is very good boy and he studying in a famous university right now. in summer he tried to get a part time job in KFC. all of his friends that have chinese blood got a part time job but not him. everyone in a family observe that it’s because he has got very dark complexion. one of my friend has got a good grade and she has dark skin. she didn’t get a job as the air hostress while the one who has got fair skin and lower grade get a job.

I HIGHLY doubt they can outdo Whites in that department. I’m not saying they like Blacks, but there is NOTHING they can say/do to Blacks that Whites haven’t done
Johanex: Since you’re obviously not Black, i ‘m sure you find it interesting to know that African immigrants out compete even Asian immigrants & Asian Americans in the U.S. academically. Whites also constitute the majoirity of people on welfare.

Non-black minorities often dislike blacks, because it’s easier to fight alongside whites than to fight against them even though they KNOW those whites are in the wrong. It’s like how in grade school, people try to suck up to bullies so they don’t become victims themselves.
Insecure people often have a need to feel better than someone else.
As to why it’s always blacks, it’s because we’ve been placed at the bottom of the social hierarchy system known as race since its inception, due to the fact that we look the least like the people who created the current paradigm we live in, not to mention that we were their slaves for an extended period of time. When people come to America they adopt the established cultural viewpoints to aid assimilation, which have blacks at the bottom of the the imaginary totem pole. The sad thing is that people feel better about being second class citizens as long as there are third class citizens for them to look down on.
It’s all about hierarchy and power relations. You can often observe that people who are somewhere in the middle of a conflict (in this case black "minority" vs. white "majority") tend to hide behind the majority. That means in this case they try to be "whiter than white" to be accepted or at least left in peace by those who they consider as "being in power" as Blacks were openly discriminated against by Whites for centuries.
It’s called mimicry in sociology. In the US it’s Asians and East Indians being racist towards Blacks. In Germany it’s the non-Germanic minorities being racist against Turkish people to "proof that they’re "good" Germans".
It’s quite a sad story.
And another reason why they might be against blacks is that in Asia people traditionally connect dark skin with "poor and low people" (farmworkers who have to stay in the sun all day long for example) – just like European people did in the middle ages.

It doesn’t just seem that way. Asians do have biases against blacks that are sometimes more intense than those of whites. But here seems to be the difference: Asian biases against blacks are more exclusionary than they are destructive. White biases, on the other hand, have historically been more destructive toward blacks. For example, Asians didn’t go where blacks lived (Africa) to abduct and abuse them; but whites did.
Who knows why Obama didn’t bow to the Queen of England, but did bow to the Emperor of Japan? There are nuances involved that I haven’t quite figured yet. (It’s noteworthy that Michele hugged the Queen even though this is traditionally not done.)

Asians are generally hardworking, very skilled and value family and education. So I would not be surprised if they didn’t like African Americans.
