do the fia and Bernie have double standards when it comes to punishing different teams?

do you think the fia should have a punishment book related to the nature of the rule broken,so in future each team knows if they break rule x punishment z will apply, rather than have the punishment made up by the fia depending on who the team is?

1. Yes, they have they’ve helped McLaren.
2. No, to harsh for the small ones.

Not necessarily. If Spyker is caught with technical data from Super-Auguri, the gains the will get are minimal. However, when one of the leading team steels technical data from another leading team, then the gain for the offending team is much larger, and as such the punishment should be much more severe.

It appears to be like that, but, in reality we’ll never know. He is said to be protective of Lewis, but who knows the truth. It’s easier to explain a compromise by saying there is a conspiracy theory behind it.
I think that the FIA realized the implications of excluding the team and the drivers and thought it will ruin the show, or they were not 100% convinced of the gain from the spying, it’s not quantifiable so, they made a compromise.
There is a reverse to the story, people are saying that ferrari and all the bridgestone tire users had an unfair advantage over the other teams and they should have made their expertise available to the other teams, one good point. Again controversial but if you preach equality, then they should start from an even standpoint.

of course they do but f1 is all about money,

if mclaren cheated how can they be stripped because they gained advantage in the constructors but not the drivers.
because lewis is the golden child.

same as football were lower clubs get point deductions yet west ham get fined.

one rule for one and one for another,

if spiker did it they would probably be kicked out and at the very least the drivers would have been stripped if they got any points

LMAO Gatorade.

in answer to your Q – a big fat yes.

maybe they should draw up some sort of guideline in relation to rule breaking punishments. if teams break the rules and are fined it should be on a % basis so the little teams wouldn’t be fined out of existence.
