A Christmas Carol is going to be more heartwarming.
Planet 51 will be more slapstick style humor.

Planet 51… i heard christmas carol is for older kids and adults because its not really a kid movie and they will fall asleep.. and its violent and they wouldnt understand… my kids were begging to leave…

If you want a twist on an old classic tale i would see "A Christmas Carol" but if you want a funny animation movie i would go see "Planet 51"
