How Seriously Is Bama To Be Taken In The SEC?
Personally, I think that all of us SEC people overlooked the Crimson Tide in favor of Georgia, LSU, and Florida. I have to admit that Bama looks good and I, too, am guilty of not giving them any credit this season.
Are they a legitimate SEC title winner this season?
Bama isn’t a joke. But I can’t see them winning the rest of their games in the fashion they beat UGA.
UGA had some really stupid penalties and basically knocked themselves out of that game.
Alabama might be good, but they’re not lucky enough to win the SEC.

No one in the SEC will go undefeated. But yeah, they look really good. I think they can win the SEC championship.

Not too seriously. Bama still has a pretty tough schedule remaining playing at Tennessee, at LSU, and finishing the season vs. Auburn. If they can get by those games, I think they have a shot at the SEC title.

You have to look at it like this. Georgia is and was overrated. You can’t take anyone in the SEC seriously.

I believe that although Bama is much improved they will lose to both LSU and Auburn. That being said, they very well might wind up 10-2 for the season.

They dominated UGA who was supposed to be the best. They will dominate LSU and the rest of the SEC but I think someone will upset them.

I have a surprise pick for the SEC: Vandy will run the table and beat OSU in the BCS Championship. I am not a Commodore fan to let you know.

i agree noone will go undefeated in the SEC. Thats humanly impossible.(just like saying noone will go undefeated in the Big 12)

the sec is the toughest conference in college football, alabama has a shot but dont look for them to go undefeated, and please enough about the osu’s of the world the sec has proven its point back to back years!

Yes they are definitely a SEC title contender.. But they can get worn down just like everyone else.. Their schedule is more favorable than LSU’s from this week forward.. But they still have Auburn, at Tenn, and at LSU…
I did not give them any credit either.. But we are still early in the season and UGA may have been a little over-rated…

I’m an Alabama fan, and they are doing alot better than the have in yrs’ past. I dont know if we will win every game, but I do know that we have a good chance of winning the SEC title and will probably beat Auburn this yr after 6 yrs. Roll Tide!!

Since you’re a Gator fan let me make this VERY simple, If Bama makes it to the SEC Championship they will find the GEORGIA BULLDAWGS waiting for Them. This is only week 5 and a lot will happen between now and Dec 6th. We will be more conditioned for the rematch. Remember last season, LSU lost twice. And we know how that turned out……………. When we beat you in Jacksonville (again) and we will bark all the way to Atlanta to win the SEC Championship !! The only thing that matters is #1 at the END of the season, not week 5.
PLUS…… the Gators will be upset by Vandy in week 11 and then you’re out!! I’m calling the shot Now…………..
